Hailing from New Jersey and Boston are James Heston, Zack Fischer, Arlo Sims and Shane Dähler. They've been building their careers as a bold but nuanced collective for nearly five years. Influenced by the history, culture, and sounds of their vibrant hometowns, Big Time Company aspires to compose and perform music that speaks to listeners across the musical spectrum. Their signature style has become a fusion of Jazz and Funk, the American classical music.
The members have been musically trained and educated at Harvard University, New England Conservatory of Music and Berklee College of Music. As an ensemble and individually, Big Time Company has performed across the country and the globe, including the Boston Public Library, Hatch Memorial Shell, Jordan Hall, Shanghai Jazz NYC, Paramount Theater NYC, Woodstock Opera House Chicago, Tobago Jazz Festival Trinidad and Tobago, Blue Note Amsterdam and many more.
